The Pittsburgh Penguins announced a partnership with Ordr covering payments across the club’s commerce operations, deployed across the digital platforms serving PPG Paints Arena.
The agreement put fan transactions on one integrated set of rails rather than several disconnected ones, so that the club could see what a fan actually spends across the building instead of reconciling it after the fact.
Ordr has since published the measured result of that deployment: a dozen fragmented vendors consolidated in sixty days, processing costs down 53 percent, and eighty hours a month returned to the finance team.
Ordr is the commerce intelligence layer for live experiences. Not a point of sale and not a processor. One ledger that turns disconnected ticketing, CRM and payment data into revenue for the teams and operators that own it.
We are always looking for innovative ways to enhance our fans' digital experience. Ordr's payment processing technology will empower our team to create more personalized, seamless interactions with fans both inside and outside of PPG Paints Arena. As the demand for digital payments continues to grow, we are excited to be at the forefront of this transformation and to partner with Ordr in the Sports and Entertainment Industry.Alfred SmithSenior Vice President of Technology, Pittsburgh Penguins
