HOW WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Why we collect your Personal Information
We may collect your Personal Information when you register as a User, make an order, or otherwise interact with our App. The amount and type of information that we collect depends on the nature of your interaction with our App.
We will identify the purpose for which we collect your Personal Information at the time we collect it. We may do so by referring to this policy or by providing these details at the time of collection.
Individuals who register as Users of our App are asked to provide their name, an email address, a phone number, or a linked social media account so that we may authenticate the account and prevent abuse, spam, or fraud. We also collect this information so that we or a Venue can properly identify the User in the course of providing goods and services to the User.
We do not store your credit card, Paypal, or other payment information on our App or our servers. As described below, we use third party services for all payment processing done through our App.
How we use your Personal Information
We will process your Personal Information when doing so is necessary to deliver ORDR’s services and products. We may also process Personal Information in pursuit of other legitimate interests, which include but are not limited to:
a) Preventing fraud;
b) Complying with our legal obligations;
c) Ensuring network and information security;
d) Providing and improving our products and services;
e) Reporting criminal acts and threats to individual or public safety; or
f) Analytics and marketing.
When we will disclose your Personal Information
We will not rent or sell your Personal Information to anyone.
We will disclose your Personal Information when you have expressly consented to its disclosure for a particular purpose. Some of the information we collect from our Users, such as name and contact information, will be shared with Venues.
We may also disclose your Personal Information to those of entities that:
(i) need to know that information in order to process it on ORDR’s behalf or to provide services available on ORDR’s App; AND
(ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others and to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Please note that we will disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
ORDR USES THIRD PARTY PAYMENT PROCESSING
ORDR uses Stripe for payment processing. Our App uses Stripe’s own Application Programming Interface (API) to collect your payment information, which is then sent directly to Stripe. We tokenize all information before sending it to Stripe and we do not store your credit card or other payment information on our servers. Our App only retains a token of your payment information, which is a type of data short-hand for your payment information that removes all sensitive or exploitable information.
In collecting your payment information, we will take all commercially reasonable steps to comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
Stripe collects and process your Personal Information according to their own privacy policies.
ORDR USES TARGETED ADS
ORDR may advertise the products or services of third parties to its Users. To ensure that ORDR displays relevant ads, ORDR may use location data or other potentially identifying information of its Users. ORDR will only use this information to decide which ads to display and will not share this information with third party advertisers.
WHERE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS PROCESSED
ORDR is a Canadian company and is subject to Canadian law on information and privacy. Some of our employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country. By using our App and by providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information outside of your home country and acknowledge that it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is sent.
APP USERS
Like most App operators, ORDR collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that devices typically make available, such as device type, language preferences, and the date and time of each visitor request. ORDR’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information
is to better understand how ORDR’s Users use the App and to facilitate the provision of our services and of Venues’ services.
ORDR also collects potentially personally-identifying information like device location or the IP address of logged-in Users. ORDR only processes potentially personally-identifying in the same manner that it processes Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
ORDR may collect statistics about the behavior of Users of its App. ORDR may display this information publicly or provide it to others in the form of aggregate statistics, but any aggregate statistics we disclose will not include Personal Information.
PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES
ORDR may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at ORDR’s sole discretion. ORDR encourages Users to frequently check for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our App after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
